Thanks Robert. I suffered a little cognitive dissonance with this essay. On one hand I did not want to write something sloppily sentimental and on the other hand I wanted to freely explore a sort of sloppy emotion we have all felt at one time or another.

Nope Jannes, Linda has gotten good at photography using just an iPhone. Some years ago we unloaded a pretty good Canon, digital SLR. Too bad, we are both getting better with photography and often push the limits of an iPhone camera.

Thanks Deanna, there is some fairly good stuff back there and some fairly average stuff. It's interesting to me that when when I post an essay, I'm sure that it is the best I can do on that day. BUT, I have no idea of whether or not it is any good. Sometime later, on a reread, I have a better sense of the quality of an essay.
